More than 4,300 operators visited the 2006 edition of SFORTEC: 87% were involved in company purchasing decisions: 20.3% in absolute autonomy, 49% within the scope of investment advisory teams and 18.3% for specialist opinions. SFORTEC is therefore the ideal setting to promote offerings of components and structural processing based on production cooperation and the “extended company” model. It is no coincidence that the technological repertory of the 2008 edition of the event, promoted by CIS-COMITATO INTERASSOCIATIVO SUBFORNITURA, has been expanded to include services for industry - by an important feature in terms of asset competitiveness. In a scenario characterised by globalisation, companies are obliged to improve quality standards, increase efficiency and, simultaneously, reduce production costs: outsourcing of operations that do not involve core business is by now a pressing requirement.
