From 16th to 21st April Eurocucina, the International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition, brings together the best Italian and foreign manufacturers in the sector. The 2008 edition, its 17th, has booked in 135 participants, gathered in Pavilions 18, 22 and 24 at the Milan Fairgrounds, Rho. The Italian turnout, which was already pretty impressive, has forged ahead and is now on a par with the foreign presence, which has seen the consolidation of the German team alongside countries such as Spain, Turkey, the Republic of San Marino and the United States.

Eurocucina, a benchmark event at international sectorial level, caters for all tastes and all possibilities: classical kitchens on one hand, and increasingly modern and designer on the other, conspicuous for their well-defined lines and products with strong images. Shine is making a comeback – laminated or lacquered – with more organic and curvaceous lines and an interesting use of glass.

FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) is Eurocucina's collateral event, focused exclusively on research, originality and innovation. FTK is therefore a sort of general statement on the technology of built-in electrical appliances and cooker hoods, held in Pavilion 26, purpose-built for the occasion within the new exhibition complex at Rho, and directly accessible from Eurocucina
