In September 2008 SSIEM (Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism) will organize its annual meeting in Hamburg. This society, that was formed in 1963, sets as its main aim to provide an exchange of new ideas and knowledge among people in the whole world that are occupied in different scientific fields and are interested in the problem of inborn errors of metabolism. During the plenary meetings such questions as new genetic mechanism of deseases and dietetic treatment of metabolic deseases will be discussed. Exhibition sections:
