BBC Good Homes Live will be co-located for the first time with the BBC Good Food Summer Festival and BBC Gardeners' World Live to create one amazing event and a truly outstanding experience. You will still be able to enjoy celebrity advice on everything from design to DIY as well as celebrating every aspect of your home life a feast of gourmet summer foods, and experience live demonstrations from celebrity chefs while also enjoying a feast of gourmet summer foods and stunning show gardens. BBC Good Homes Live it! 2006 is now over for another year. It was a roaring success and we look forward to seeing you back next year. All your favourite celebrity experts appeared at the show and offered advice on everything from design to DIY. Highlights included Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen explained how you can achieve the elusive wow-factor in your home, Oliver Heath demonstrated how a makeover can transform your home and garden plus Tommy Walsh threw down the Flat Pack gauntlet with two teams of 'volunteers' from the audience racing to build a pergola. Over in The Summer Food Festival, celebrity chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Ainsley Harriott and The Hairy Bikers demonstrated some fabulous summer recipes in their own entertaining style. Plus there were 400 exhibitors with a vast array of homes and food products and ideas for the thousands of visitors to enjoy and buy. |
