The clinical programme was wide-ranging and provided a mixture of state-of-the-art reviews and cutting-edge clinical topics such as whole body MRI and nuclear CT. Adrian Dixon asked the challenging question "how many slices do I really need" in a discussion of the application of multislice CT. Contemporary issues in radiology service delivery and management such as Independent Treatment Centres, Payment by Results and Choose and Book were discussed. of these sessions were so oversubscribed that organisers commented that larger rooms will need to be found for UKRC in Manchester. |
