The GIMT – South China’s leading machine tool exhibition – will already be held for the eighth time. In 2006, the GIMT and the AMB merged into one exhibition and will continue their successful cooperation in 2007 for the second time. 412 companies presented their products and innovations from July 14-17, 2006 in the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center on a total area of 14,564 sqm. For 2007, the organisers expect more than 500 exhibitors covering 20,000 sqm. In 2006, leading Chinese machine tool manufacturers such as market leader Shenyang Machine Tools booked large exhibition areas. Well-occupied international joint stands from Germany, Korea, and Italy also presented their products.
