The Annual Conference is the showcase and once-a-year opportunity to
celebrate and profile the achievements of the profession, and next year
it will be held in the International Conference Centre in Manchester.
Covering all aspects of the profession, it is your chance to share
innovative practice and meet the ‘leading lights’ at the cutting-edge
of occupational therapy.A plenary session will be staged daily, giving
delegates the opportunity to hear from the ‘movers and shakers’ from
within and outside the profession, who are at the forefront of policy,
practice, education and research. Sessions will follow on the themes
highlighted in the plenaries, and delegates will be able to choose from
paper presentations, seminars, workshops, round tables, innovative
technology and poster presentations, both presented and displayed.
A major exhibition featuring products and services dedicated to the
needs of consumers, carers, health and social care professionals, will
run alongside the conference. In addition, a number of organisations
will present their products in small workshops, giving you a hands-on
opportunity to test and try innovative products and learn about the
latest developments in the marketplace.
