With Transport & Logistics we aim to present the industry with an
overview of the logistical developments and trends in the various
transport modes. Visitors can expect a profiled selection of solutions
in the fields of logistics know-how, shipping, market-oriented
distribution, transport & warehousing, goods handling and supply
chain management. Programme: The exhibitors can be subdivided into 3 complementary groups: 1. 50% logistics service providers, 2, 3 & 4 PL's, forwarders and haulage companies specialising in road transport, express services, distribution, air freight, rail transport, sea freight and inland shipping. 2. 30% enterprises specialising in in-house logistics solutions; suppliers of warehouse systems, lift trucks, stackers and roller conveyors. 3. 20% auto-ID specialists; IT, mobile communication and logistics software providers. Transport & Logistics each time attracts over 7,000 professionals from the Benelux and has thus established itself as the leading business event for the transport and logistics community. The fair also owes its success to the fact that the logistics sector is a growth market. Logistics is gradually being recognised as an important criterion for a company's global performance. A growing number of shippers wants to outsource their transport and logistics operations. Obviously, the first question to be asked is to what extent logistics service providers can propose solutions that meet the industry's logistical needs in these times of globalisation, cost savings, e-commerce and technological innovations. Target group Transport & Logistics is targeted at shippers in the Benelux, at decision-makers who need to gather strategic information on the logistical organisation of goods flows: logistics and traffic managers, warehouse and distribution managers, general managers, ICT managers, supply chain managers, 'transport & logistics' buyers.
