Having
been introduced in 1976, the International Stamp Fair in Essen is the
oldest event of its kind in and around the world. Every two years
Essen is the meeting point for collectors from near and far. After the successful show in 2004 more than 150 dealers, accessory manufacturers, auctioneers, publishing houses, postal administrations and agencies from all over the world are expected to present their interesting ranges of postage stamps, covers, postcards, phone-cards and coins. Naturally, experts and examiners will once again be pleased to advise our visitors in the Philatelic Centre. The new incentives will be continued. The „Verbandder Philatelisten in Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. im BDPh“, which is thePhilatelist’s organisation of North-Rhine-Westphalia, will organise again acompetitive thematic exhibition, with international participation. Many studygroups will be presented with an information booth.
