the Video Surveillance Conference and Exhibition ALARM.
The ALARM exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to present
modern technologies and solutions within video surveillance of public
buildings as well as products and services offered by domestic
producers and contractors. The range of products exhibited at the ALARM
exhibition encompasses various protection systems, emergency warning
systems, video surveillance, as well as equipment for special
prevention squads. In the pavilions of Kielce Trade Fairs one can also
become acquainted with services offered by security firms,
investigation agencies and insurance companies.
The ALARM exhibition is accompanied by a conference on "Town Security -
Visual Surveillance of Urban Areas". It is part of the project "Town
Security", which is being gradually implemented by the Commend-in-Chief
of the Police in Poland's largest cities. The objective of the project
is to provide security in the most crime-affected urban areas and to
enhance the sense of security among the inhabitants. In areas covered
by video surveillance systems a significant decrease in the number of
robberies, acts of hooliganism, thefts and acts of vandalism is
reported, while the traffic regulations are being increasingly
observed. The conference is annually attended by commanders of
municipal and district police stations, fire brigade departments and
mayors. Representatives of municipal offices, police, city guards, as
well as companies and institutions specializing in security systems
share their experience and knowledge related, among other things, to
urban surveillance systems - implementation, location and
effectiveness. Among the issues raised during last year's conference
was protection of buildings in the context of the catastrophe in the
exhibition hall in Katowice.
The ALARM exhibition will be held simultaneously with the Exhibition of
Sport Facilities, Fittings and Construction SPORT-OBIEKT, which is
dedicated to new trends within sports construction, sports equipment
and access control systems.
There will also be products offered by manufacturers of equipment for
sports halls and stadiums, recreation equipment and sportswear.
