The range of products put on display in the pavilions will encompass,
among other things, the most modern orthopaedic and rehabilitation
equipment; physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and kinesitherapy equipment; as
well as offers prepared by health resorts and sanatoria. During
the fair, there will be demonstrations of rehabilitation and medical
equipment in operation, presentations of ambulances and vehicles for
transporting disabled people. There will also be offers related to
financial aid for the disabled. It was at the previous edition of this trade fair that for the first time cynotherapy was presented. It is a method of strengthening the effectiveness of rehabilitation activities, in which a properly selected and trained dog provides assistance. The cynotherapy process is supervised by a well qualified therapist. We also enriched the REHMED-EXPO fair with presentations of selected sports that the disabled are capable of practising. Sport not only constitutes an attractive leisure activity and a way of finding self-fulfillment, but also a form of rehabilitation. The sports presentations are co-organized by the Association of Sport and Rehabilitation 'Start' and the Foundation for Active Rehabilitation in Warsaw. To follow the tradition, the exhibition will be accompanied by many seminars, conferences and specialist training sessions, during which the latest and most effective forms of medical and professional rehabilitation of the sick and disabled will be addressed.
