Food & Drink Expo is one of the UK’s most influential food and drink industry events. As the largest gathering of suppliers and buyers in the food and drink calendar, it will be the main showcase for your products and services in 2010. It attracts all your potential customers - buyers and specifiers from a wide range of retail, food service, manufacturing and wholesale sectors. Buyers from UK multiples and supermarkets, international decision-makers, wholesalers, owners and managers from cafes, coffee shops, sandwich bars, fast food outlets, pubs, restaurants, hotels, contract caterers, grocers, off licences, specialist food outlets and forecourt shops will all be there. Many of these visitors consider Food & Drink Expo to be their main trade exhibition, they expect to taste test the latest products, review the latest brands and equipment, discover new trends and innovations, meet the best suppliers and talk to people from these companies face-to-face. Food & Drink Expo features international pavilions, UK regional umbrella stands, Sandwich & Snack Solutions and Ingredients Solutions. It also includes topical and inspirational show events such as Ideas To Dine For!, the World Kitchen, the Wine & Cheese Theatre, Bar Talk, The Great Debate and Chef Competitions. Once again, Food & Drink Expo will be part of the successful Food & Drink World event which attracted over 70,000 visits in 2008, this includes The Convenience Retailing Show 2010, Foodex Meatex 2010 and The International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment Show 2010. Exhibitors from over 20 countries took part, with country pavilions from Japan, the USA, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Thailand, Italy and Saudi Arabia. Many UK producers exhibited on the regional umbrella stands including North West Fine Foods, Heart of England Fine Foods, South West Food & Drink, Yorkshire & Humber Regional Food Group, Northumbria, Tastes of Anglia, East Midlands, Wales the True Taste and Scotland. Many companies took the opportunity to showcase new products and services during the show. New launches were staged by Wensleydale Foods, Jules & Sharpe, Works With Water, The Food Doctor, The Organic Yorkshire Hemp Company, Tods of Orkney, Edgmond Foods, Sempre Viva Iced Yoghurt, Gebroder Woerle, LB Foods, Gohel Enterprises, L’Aquila, Kremezzat GmbH, RH Packaging and The Greatest Store on Earth. |
