The first International exhibition of timber-furniture, ATHENS-MEDWOOD that was realized in EXPO ATHENS exhibit centre Anthousa, Athens from 24/03/2006 until 27/03/2006 has been completed successfully. The good organization, quality of stands and exhibition centre, variety of exhibits and easy access to the centre are the main experiences gained by the visitors and exhibitors. The 6.540 visitors of which 300 were from countries such as Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Turkey, Serbia-Montenegro, Albania, Hungary, Poland, Syria, Egypt and USA. The visitors had the opportunity to see in the 3 Halls of Expo Athens, a significant variety of exhibits (furniture materials, semi-finished products and timber machinery) from 97 exhibitors and 200 companies and brands. The modern facilities, easy access, cleanliness, security and European standards as well as the two forums and the effective strategic communication are only some of the advantages that make ATHENS MEDWOOD unique. The business transactions between visitors and exhibitors have contributed to the achievement of new partnerships and deals.
