KOSMIMA International Exhibition of Jewellery – Clocks & Watches – Precious Stones – Machinery & Equipment has been organized by HELEXPO at Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre for the last 20 years. The 20th KOSMIMA confirmed the fact that the exhibition’s prestige goes beyond Greek borders and extends to the broader region of South-Eastern Europe. Furthermore, it comprises a valuable exhibition for Greek manufacturing, which highlights its advantages and contributes to the further modernization and export orientation of the sector.

The number of visitors to the 20th KOSMIMA increased by approximately 10% to 5,400, while the exhibition was characterized by its internationalization, as foreign trade visitors came from 16 countries, namely Albania, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, FYR of Macedonia, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and the United States of America. Greek Visitors came from the whole of Greece and particularly the islands.

It should be noted that 251 exhibitors participated in the 20th KOSMIMA, 181 of whom were Greek and 70 foreign, from 16 foreign countries, namely Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey (with a group participation). Group participants included the Greek Designers’ Department, the Hellenic Association of Clock & Watch Importers, the Goldsmiths-Silversmiths’ Guild of Thessaloniki, the Association of Clock & Watchmakers-Goldsmiths of Piraeus and the non-profit Greek Jewellery Manufacturers (J.A.W.) society.

KOSMIMA addresses producers, representatives, importers and merchants from Greece and abroad who are active in the sector of jewellery and clocks & watches.
