The OOP, providing the "essence of modern software engineering" is one of the biggest and most well respected software events in Europe. Although the background of this event is software technology, the event has increasingly moved to also include the management aspects of software as well. This event is very well established, with a remarkable, over 15-year history. It has a proven track record on satisfying the information needs of attendees from both a software and business perspective. The technical content covers the whole spectrum of modern software engineering and provides the essence of the important trends and techniques in this area combined with a strong business focus.
"Business Advantage through Software Technology" is the motto of this year's conference. Increasingly, software has become an absolutely essential part of doing business. This includes software as part of the product itself (e.g. software embedded in products such as automobiles) and using modern software techniques to realize flexible IT-systems in a broad range of domains e.g. banking, insurance, telecommunications etc.
This event will give attendees reliable and practical information on the skills and techniques which will be particularly important for the future and will provide excellent information on which to base current and future software technology decisions.
