Kielce
Trade Fairs will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the International
Power Industry Fair ENEX, which will be accompanied by the 5th Fair of
Renewable Energy Sources ENEX – New Energy. Kielce Trade Fairs
organizes this fair in-co-operation with the Economic Chamber of Power
Industry and Environmental Protection and with the Association of
Polish Electrical Engineers. Honorary patronage of the exhibition has
been provided by Chairman of the Parliamentary Team for the
Restructuring of Power Industry.
The fair provides an opportunity to become acquainted with
state-of-the-art solutions within generation, transmission and
distribution of electricity and heat, with power engineering machines
and equipment, IT and telecommunications systems applied in the power
industry, as well as modernization methods used within existing power
networks. The power industry constitutes an important sector of the
economy, indispensable for the development of all other sectors, which
also contributes to the substantial attention attracted by this trade
fair. Among the exhibitors are both producers of conventional energy as
well as companies specializing in the production of energy from
renewable sources.
ENEX constitutes an excellent place for presentations of technical and
technological solutions related to power engineering, in addition to
being a forum for an information and experience exchange. In September
2000, Poland adopted the Strategy for the Development of Renewable
Energy Sector, the aim being to increase the share of energy from
renewable sources in Poland's primary energy balance. The fuel crisis
of the early 70s made people realize fossil fuels are running out. It
was at that time that a range of programmes aimed at saving energy,
restructuring the power sector, and development of renewable energy
sources were put into operation. At the beginning, their costs seemed
to be enormous. From year to year, however, the utilization of
renewable energy becomes increasingly profitable, while the natural
resources are very rich. Hence the increasing attention attracted by
alternative sources of energy.
The International Power Industry Fair ENEX will be accompanied by a
wide range of seminars and specialist conferences. The best products
exhibited at the fair will be awarded with medals and distinctions of
Kielce Trade Fairs.
During last year's edition of this trade fair, products and services
were displayed by 99 companies from 4 countries: Germany, Slovakia,
Sweden and Poland. The exhibition was visited by 4,100 professionals
(technicians, constructors, chief power engineers, ministerial
officials, investors) and representatives of local authorities from all
over Poland.
