| Description: | On the area of 42 000 sq.m, Inter Expo & Congress Center is situated in the south-eastern part of Sofia only 3 km from the city airport, directly on the highway connecting Vienna and Istanbul, 6 km from the centre of the city and 15 minutes from the central railway station and international bus station. The exhibition complex is designed with four exhibition pavilions, seven congress halls and open area. The exhibition pavilions offer excellent conditions for organising a wide spectrum of specialised exhibitions and are also suitable for congresses, seminars, cocktails, gala dinners, promotions, fashion shows and others. Each pavilion has a separate entrance allowing organisation of several events simultaneously. The clients of Inter Expo & Congress Center have at their disposal restaurants, cafeterias, several car parks. Bank, insurance and tourist services, forwarding and logistic, store premises and customs clearance are offered as well. The modern exhibition complex in Sofia is growing In order to respond to the increasing customers' demands for space and hospitality, Inter Expo & Congress Center started the enlargement in its exhibition, congress and park space. The construction of the forth exhibition pavilion which will be completed until November 2006, will welcome the exhibitors and visitors of the autumn international specialised exhibitions. Thus the covered exhibition area will grow up to 12 200 sq.m. The Congress Center, which has hosted more than 200 events in 2005, is expanding with three more congress halls with capacity between 50 and 150 seats. The construction of four additional office storeys began in June 2005. The total area of the superstructure will be 6300 sq.m. In the north-western part of the area of Inter Expo & Congress Center will be constructed a multilevel car park with three underground and one ground levels with capacity for 500 automobiles. |
